My Favourite film review

The film I will be reviewing is called 'Just Go With It'. The genre of this particular film is a romantic comedy. This is my favourite movie because it entertains me whenever I watch it and when I leave the room after watching it I feel lifted and energetic.

The plot: Danny (Adam Sandler) a Plastic Surgeon convinces his working assistant Katherine (Jennifer Aniston) to pretend to be his ex-wife in order to keep a relationship going with his 'dream girl' Palmer (Brooklyn Decker), but the lies keep growing and it gets out of control. Tagline: 'Sometimes you need a girl to get a girl' (copied from IMDb).

'Just Go With It' was directed by Dennis Dugan and written by Allen Loeb and Timothy Dowling. I think this 117 minute PG-13 rated movie was written for families with children over the age of 12 to enjoy an entertaining, hysterical movie. The production companies for this movie were Columbia Pictures and Happy Madison Productions. The production of the film ‘Just Go With It’ started on 2nd March 2010 and was released on 11th February 2011 and the budget for this film was $80,000,000 (estimated) this movie made a gross of $103,028.109 by 13th May 2011. ‘Just Go With It’ was shown in many different countries from USA to Japan. In some parts of the USA the working title changed to either ‘Just Go With It’, ‘Holiday in Hawaii’ or ‘Pretend Wife’. This film overall won 5 awards and was nominated for 11 awards.

This movie was filmed in many different locations including; Hawaii, Beverly Hills, Hotel Casa Del Mar California, Los Angeles and Oak Park California.

The actors and actresses in this movie are one of the specific reasons why I love this movie, Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston are both my favourite actors and for them to be in the same movie together was just incredible. This was actually the first movie they had shot together and to date it is the only movie they have shot together. By watching interviews with the two actors on YouTube I see that they get along very well and they have known each other for many years so it was a very relaxed and enjoyable time spent together while shooting the movie.

My favourite scene in this particular movie has to be when Palmer meets Katherine (playing the ex-wife), this scene is full of so much wit and you can't help but laugh whenever you watch it.

All this information was collected from either YouTube or IMDb.
